Program Activities
The Girl Scout program can change the way girls see the world and their place in it. Girls learn the importance of personal responsibility, the value of goal-setting, the spirit of teamwork, and the thrill of accomplishment. Girl Scouts of Maumee Valley Council offers girls a wide variety of opportunities and activities throughout the year. All program activities are age-appropriate and based on the Girl Scout Leadership Development Module, as well as on the Girl Scout Promise and Law.
Girl Scouts are divided into Daisy Girl Scouts (ages 5-6), Brownie Girl Scouts (ages 6-8), Junior Girl Scouts (ages 8-11) and Cadettes and Senior (ages 11-17).
