Volunteer Opportunities
Without adults playing many pivotal roles, Girl Scouting couldn't happen. Whether you're a leader/advisor, parent or guardian, volunteer, or mentor, you awaken in girls their promise to develop their full potential. We have many volunteer opportunities at Girl Scouts of Maumee Valley Council:
Troop Leader/Assistant Troop Leader - Adult volunteers who work with Girl Scout troops.
Troop Committee Member - Parents/Guardians who assist the leader as requested.
Service Team Positions - Registered volunteers who serve as Service Unit Directors, Registrars, Treasurers, Recruiters, Consultant/Coaches, Training Coordinators, Cookie Managers, etc. Speak with your Service Unit Director or Membership Services Manager if you are interested in serving on the Service Team in your Service Unit.
Council Trainer - Registered volunteers appointed by the Adult Development Manager who provide training in their area of expertise for Girl Scout volunteers.
Sponsor - A business or community organization that offers a troop assistance with resource personnel, meeting locations, uniforms, books, etc.
