ABC Bakers Chosen as Girl Scouts of Western Ohio's 2009 Girl Scout Cookie Baker
Girl Scouts of Western Ohio is pleased to announce that ABC Bakers has been chosen as the Girl Scout Cookie baker for Girl Scouts of Western Ohio's 2009 Girl Scout Cookie sale. They will again offer 8 varieties of top quality cookies, including Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Patties, Caramel Delights and Peanut Butter Sandwiches.
"We are very much looking forward to working with ABC Bakers once again," said Roni Luckenbill, Girl Scouts of Western Ohio's COO. "Based on last year's sale, we know that ABC Bakers will provide us with the highest level of service and great-tasting cookies."
ABC Bakers listened to volunteer and customer feedback from the 2008 Girl Scout Cookie sale – they have reverted back to their original peanut butter recipe, and they are also streamlining the CookieWorks online ordering system to make it more user-friendly. Gearing up for 2009, they have announced the new theme – "Going Places – Girls Take The Lead".
ABC Bakers is the oldest and most experienced licensed Girl Scout Cookie baker, having been "Official Girl Scout Cookie Bakers" since 1939. Interbake Foods LLC is the parent company of ABC; they are based in Richmond, Virginia, and have been baking cookies for 100 years.
