1-2-3 Smile!  White Pines Troop 1262

The girls in Troop 1262 from White Pines (Highland Elementary).  Put together 50 hygiene toiletry kits for the homeless.  We collected samples of toothbrushes/paste, disposable razors/shaving cream, combs, soap, shampoo/conditioner, lotion, band-aids, sewing kits, emery boards, etc.  We then bought fabric that was generously discounted for us from Hancock Fabrics and cotton cord which was also discounted for us from Lowes and sewed 50 duffel bags for their belongings.  The girls then put the toiletries in baggies and into the bags.  We donated them to the Cherry Street Mission.

Thinking Day Events

White Pines and Northern Lites Service Units each held Thinking Day events.  Both Service Units had troops with booths from around the world featuring food, clothing and many other exciting facts about their country.  At both events girls from the Service Units all had a wonderful time!  Pictures to the right is White Pines troop with their India display and Northern Lites with girls showing their Italy t-shirts.
